West Kootenay Labour Council Endorsement
The Canadian Labour Council, BC Federation of Labour and the West Kootenay Labour Council endorses candidates whom they believe will work to build affordable, inclusive, resilient communities with strong public services and good jobs, candidates who are labour friendly and will be supportive of workers. Below is a list of candidates that they have endorsed for our area. Please see the information below that we have been able to gather on each candidate. Please remember to vote either on election day (October 15) or during the advance polls (October 5). Voting in local elections may not always be at the top of everyone's list, but it is important to remember that the role of trustee has the power to change local education systems and set the tone for all within it.
