Personnel File
The district has a file on every employee. In this file, they keep general documents such as your resume, cover letter for job applications, teacher reports, etc. They will also include copies of letters of expectation and/or discipline. There should, however, be nothing in your file that you are not aware of. Further, you may ask that letters on your file that have the potential to lead to discipline be removed after two years if you've had no further incidents. Sometimes members ask the union president or look at their file ensure these letters have been removed or they may with to look at their file themselves. If you wish to look at your file, you will need to fill out the following form and submit it to HR.
