Of course all teachers across the province were excited when we won our landmark Supreme Court victory last November. Since then, most of us have been waiting impatiently wondering how our newly restored language would be implemented. The attached documents relate to the agreement on the process for this implementation. Please take the time to read these over. Also, don't forget tomorrow's general meeting at the Nelson District Chamber of Commerce board room at 4:15. This is your time to ask questions and get informed. A vote on the agreed implementation process will take place later this week. Hope to see you tomorrow.

The BCTF has just announced that they have reached an interim agreement with the BC Public School Employers' Association and government as a first step in the process to implement the collective agreement language recently restored by Supreme Court.
